It’s been lovely to explore Oxford for the first time although it’s disappointing to realise I can’t go into that Harry Potter shop for a long while yet. Everyone I’ve met is lovely here, and despite the restrictions there has been so much to see and do and so many societies to get involved in. It’s hard to believe Oxford is normally even more exciting! I’ve managed the most important things: making friends, finding the library, not getting lost when going to the shops… Work feels a bit like riding a bucking stallion at times, but I’ve been told I’ll fall into a routine soon enough.
And the Loo News… There’s no better comedy than that. Having to wear a mask to leave your room sucks, but there are always things to enjoy here and fun comes on a platter! However, I will never forget that badger which frightened me to death on the way to dinner one night.
