Abandoned Oxford

A cycle ride is often the way I choose to take my daily exercise and the centre of Oxford has taken on an air of tranquillity and desertion. The lack of cars, students and tourists makes it nearly unrecognisable in comparison with my pre-lockdown daily commute, also on bike. Improved air quality is noticeable and I have found the tow paths and parks now busier so bizarrely a trip into town brings me into contact with fewer people.
