Story

Two pieces of trench art. The larger piece is made from the end of a shell that was beaten into a knife shape. It is engraved and dated 1916 on the back. The smaller piece, made from a bullet, has been made into a letter opener.

These were likely purchased during the war. They belonged to my grandfather, James Sellwood, who served as a soldier.
