Story
Charles Hamilton Sorley was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, before moving to Oxford. He was aged 20 during the Battle of Loos. However, in this battle he was shot by a sniper. He died on 13th October 1915. He is recognised as one of the top ten poets of the First World War.
He was only on the front lines for a short period before he died.
