Manchester Regiment

A bound volume of black and white photographs of the Manchester Regiment, circa 1915 on the Somme Front and the Ypres Salient.

Photos from Carol’s grandfather, a keen amateur photographer, who smuggled his camera to the front, then had to take it home. He was 2nd Lieutenant Alexander Sloman, and he survived the war.
