Story

Samuel was living in Birmingham with his second wife at an address which no longer exists. He volunteered to serve for his country. Samuel was in the 127th Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery (presumable West Midlands based) and was killed by an artillery shell hitting his position on 13th September 1918, aged 46.
